John E. McCall

John Ethridge McCall (August 14, 1859 - August 8, 1920) was an American politician of Irish descent and a member of the United States House of Representatives for the 8th congressional district of Tennessee.
==Biography==
McCall was born in Clarksburg, Tennessee in Carroll County on August 14, 1859, son of Henry M. and Rebecca Frances Bowlin McCall. He attended public and private schools and graduated from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville in 1881. He studied law under the direction of Judge Joe Hawkins in Huntingdon, Tennessee, was admitted to the bar in 1882, and commenced practice at Huntingdon.
